Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited College/University, pursuing a BA/BS, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. Must not be a Senior graduating prior to the program end date (Seniors must be willing/allowed to extend graduation date if applied and hired). A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited University or College program throughout the duration of the internship
  • Must be able to work permanently in the US and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., F1, H1-B status)
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) with reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Knowledge of basic chemistry lab skills is required.
  • Bench work experience in chemistry
  • Good communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • The main responsibility for this position is to work with scientists to perform wet chemistry, and chromatography in support of new product development and life-cycle management.
  • The daily activities focus on sample preparation, testing, data collection, notebook recording, data analysis, and data reporting.
  • Login and manage samples submitted from the stability group.
  • Practices safe and environmentally sound laboratory techniques adhering to regulatory, local government, and safety guidelines.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, through verbal and written reports.
  • Maintain good documentation and lab notebook per company procedures, and FDA/ICH guidelines.
