Responsibilities

  • Engineering FP&A: Assist FP&A team by analyzing spend for global engineering teams. Consolidate monthly financial results, perform root cause analysis on financial variances, and advise on remediations to financial analysts.
  • Project Accounting: Assist financial analysts with engineering project accounting including project controls, timekeeping and billing reports, and general accounting.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Assist the Controllership team with accrual preparation and calculations, balance sheet reconciliations, aged items, capital, and fixed asset management.
  • Process Improvement: Research various accounting and process improvement topics and provide recommendations.
  • ERP Systems: Gain familiarity with Oracle, Oracle Planning, Clarity, and Tenrox systems by performing account inquiries, posting journal entries, and running a variety of system reports. Develop Excel & Power BI based analytic skills through reporting and dashboard maintenance.
  • Environment: Work in a collaborative team environment to drive improvements to financial processes through tools/systems, automation, and standardization.
