  • As part of the MiDAS Digital Currencies team at R3, you will get the chance to work on strategic cross-functional projects. You will work closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Currencies in shaping the approach to complex problems, testing hypotheses through rigorous research, and be ultimately jointly responsible over the success of implementation and execution of key initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely alongside the Senior Manager of Digital Currencies, support the planning and execution of 1-2 key strategic initiatives for the company
  • Conducting deep-dive primary and secondary research to gather data and validate hypotheses, analyzing and translating data into meaningful insights
  • Project management of specific sub-workstreams, coordinating across a cross-functional team of internal stakeholders to drive specific agendas and outcomes
  • Developing and co-leading executive-level presentations for key internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing thought leadership collateral around our specified initiative/topic
  • Supporting other ad-hoc workstreams related to this initiative

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Able to communicate effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions
  • Analytical: Able to break down abstract and complex problems, conduct analyses through desktop research and expert interviews, and synthesize insights 
  • Structured: Excellent organizational skills, structured problem solving approach, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to think and execute at a fast pace while maintaining high quality of work
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Intellectual curiosity and deep interest in financial innovations including blockchain and digital assets & currencies
  • Eagerness to engage with other employees across the company
  • Strong proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel

Education & Experience:

  • Penultimate/ Final Year student pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies
  • Pursuing a degree in one of the following areas: Business, Engineering, or other relevant fields of study
  • Prior experience in a corporate strategy, PMO, project management, or operations role in a large tech firm/startups/consulting a plus
