Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills
  • Ideally, You’ll Also Have: 
  • EIT certificate
  • One previous summer internship experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation in transportation, water, and/or land development projects
  • Previous bridge design and/or construction experience and basic knowledge of LRFD Bridge design code

Responsibilities

  • Our Entry Level Structural (Bridge) conducts evaluations of structures of various degrees of complexity, prepares plans, structure design calculations and estimates of quantities and costs under the supervision of experienced engineers, researches code issues and works with City and State officials, investigates design options and prepares reports to document findings under the direction of Project Engineers and/or Project Managers.
