Responsibilities

  • - Advance Google's mission and defend its values.
  • - Develop policy positions, papers, programs, and principles to shape the public debate around the world on misinformation, disinformation, AI and content responsibility, and information quality.
  • - Engage with policymakers, industry players, academia, and key opinion formers in thoughtful dialogue and advocate for Google externally and bring external perspectives back into the company to inform our perception and direction.
  • - Analyze and respond to policy and legislative proposals, helping develop negotiation positions and strategies.
  • - Work closely with Trust and Safety, Product, Engineering, and other teams across Google to advise on responsible policy and product development.
