Responsibilities

  • To support the Registered Clinical Staff in providing high quality individualised care to a clearly defined group of patients/clients, relatives and carers who attend the Minor Injury Unit.
  • To manage own workload along a ledger system delivering care in line with the requirements of the job description. Including wound management, care of burns, patient observations, assist with clinical investigations, minor injury care- plaster of paris application, splints and slings.
  • To be dynamic and flexible in responding to the needs of the service, resource management.
  • To deliver high quality, best practice, evidence based care to patients of all ages.
