  • The post holder will be part of the GMMH QI team based in the Nursing & Quality directorate, at Prestwich.
  • They will be required to support staff and service users/carers trust wide.
  • The post has a key role in supporting the Trust to meet its vision of incorporating Quality Improvement into our culture, our way of working, and supporting organisational change.
  • The team collaborates with staff, service users/carers across the Trust to facilitate the use of QI methodology for improvement.
  • The team is responsible for developing the Trust QI capability.
  • They will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to deliver and have oversight of multiple projects.
  • The post holder needs to work autonomously and to support teams with improvement plans and initiatives.
  • The post holder will have a pivotal role in ensuring safety is at the heart of everything we do.
  • They will be expected to seek out good practice related to QI in the NHS and apply this in a consistent way across the Trust.
  • They will take ownership of data within work-streams ensuring that we measure, monitor and evaluate outputs to ensure that improvements are delivered effectively and for the benefits of service users/carers and staff.
  • The post holder will have leadership experience demonstrating the ability to line manage, coach and develop colleagues.
  • It is essential that they have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with staff, service users/carers and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to teams across the trust to ensure delivery of a number of complex quality improvement change programs to drive continuous improvements in service delivery, using the GMMH adopted QI methodology.
  • Be an ambassador for Quality Improvement across the Trust and provide expertise, advice, education and support to ensure that improvements are delivered effectively and for the benefits of patients and staff.
  • Support staff and service users/carers trust wide.
  • Support the Trust to meet its vision of incorporating Quality Improvement into our culture, our way of working, and supporting organisational change.
  • Collaborate with staff, service users/carers across the Trust to facilitate the use of QI methodology for improvement.
  • Develop the Trust QI capability.
