Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to connect business deliverables with enterprise objectives and strategy

Responsibilities

  • - Develop and implement plans and programs that support business priorities, help employees see the connection between their work and Optum Health priorities, and inspire them to drive the organization’s success
  • - Working with Optum Health key stakeholders to create “One Optum Health” internal communication and engagement strategy and approach that drives consistency, enables more “One Optum Health” thinking, and works with individual businesses and markets to drive that and cascade it while tailoring locally
  • - Manage a team of 20+ direct and indirect report who’s responsible for driving the strategy. Create and foster a warm, inclusive team culture while supporting the team member’s development
  • - Understand the goals and priorities of Optum Health develop and implement a strategy that’s aligned with and helps employees understand those goals and priorities
  • - Drive efforts to enhance employee experience in partnership with leaders, People team and internal communication in creating an aligned culture, leadership behaviors, and overall talent engagement
  • - Build and maintain solid, trust-based relationships with Sr. Leaders and key matrixed partners, internal communication, People team and Transformation team to ensure alignment
  • - Identify the most appropriate tactics to achieve the goals as well as the most effective channels to reach employees
  • - Collaborate with leaders and colleagues on the planning and execution of town halls and other employee events; provide support with agendas, talking points, slides, logistical coordination, speaker prep and event facilitation
  • - Support efforts to better equip people leaders with the tools and resources they need to effectively lead their teams
  • - Evaluate the performance of the enablement strategy using quantitative and qualitative metrics; leverage those metrics to maximize the effectiveness of the strategy
