Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and counsel to HRBPs, ADMs and management on serious employee relations matters
  • Conduct investigations into complaints of discrimination and violations of Goodwin policy
  • Train and coach HR Business Partners to conduct employment-related investigations
  • Contribute to the development of effective and compliant Employee Relations protocols
  • Ensure that Goodwin HR policies are compliant and up-to-date
  • Advise and coach Talent professionals to ensure HR policies are interpreted and applied in a consistent manner
  • Design and deliver training programs for partners, managers, employees and HR professionals on employee relations best practices, conflict resolution and compliance with firm policy and applicable employment laws. This may include developing on-demand as well as in-person programs in collaboration with Learning and Professional Development (L &PD) and other Talent colleagues
  • Develop and maintain consistent processes to document and track significant employee relations matters
  • Analyze employee relations data and ensure that appropriate action is taken to address issues of concern
  • Develop employee relations programs and support initiatives to maintain a culture that fosters diversity and inclusion, ethical behavior and the ability to “speak up” using appropriate channels
