What is the main purpose of this role?
The main purpose of this role is to lead the verification and implementation of new IT connected Blood Gas Analysers in accordance with UKAS accreditation at Nottingham University Hospitals.

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in biomedical science and prior experience in clinical pathology or operational roles related to diagnostic analyzers.

Yes, the postholder will take delegated responsibility for the supervision, training, and coaching of staff.
How many analysers will the postholder be working with?
The postholder will be leading the work for the implementation of 31 Blood Gas Analysers.
What standards does the implementation need to comply with?
The implementation must comply with NUH Trust Policies and ISO:15189:2022.
