When does the Acute Rescue Team Fellow position commence?
The position will commence on August 6th, 2025.
In which specialty will the fellow start their rotation?
The fellow will start their rotation in Haematology for the first six months.
Can applicants begin in any specialty other than Haematology?
No, there is no option to begin in any other specialty at this time.
What are the working hours for the fellows in their base specialty?
Doctors will work normal working days (Monday to Friday) from 09:00 to 17:00 in their base specialty.
What is the on-call schedule for the fellows?
The on-call schedule consists of twilight shifts from 16:30 to 02:30, in a block from Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday with a 1 in 5 frequency.
Are the Acute Rescue Team Fellow positions educational posts?
No, the ART Fellow positions are service posts and do not have educational approval.
Will there be training and educational opportunities provided to successful applicants?
Yes, successful applicants will be provided with excellent training and educational opportunities tailored to meet individual needs.
Are there opportunities for involvement in research or innovative projects?
Yes, there will be opportunities to be involved in exciting and innovative projects around the use of novel IT solutions and app development.
