Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize research and analysis topics within the Department and develops production of Research and Analysis plans.
  • Ensure appropriate expertise is included in highly tailored written reports, oral briefings, and other intelligence products for a diverse range of global customers.
  • Identify critical intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements to fill gaps, and suggest new methodologies and collection techniques to eliminate gaps; optimize critical relationships with the Department and national policymakers for your respective OP DIV to ensure ongoing alignment of analysis with customer requirements; interact with priority customers on a regular basis and ensure customer requirements are routinely updated and prioritized.
  • Lead analytic working groups against high-priority targets and represent the command at IC forums.
  • Maintain relationships with high level intelligence professionals at other intelligence agencies and cabinets.
  • Coordinate analytic production within the Department.
  • Establish priorities and guide team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of Department products.
  • Identify and analyze supply chain risks.
  • Network detection and analysis.
  • Serve as advisor to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, as well as any required Operating Division of HHS.
