Responsibilities

  • Support and mentor Product Designers to develop a vision for best-in-class user experience across all platforms within your domain
  • Work with Product Designers to facilitate definition of high-level design strategy and creation of design deliverables based on research and data
  • Act as a player coach, supporting our customer team as the sole designer in that squad, developing the design vision, strategy and execution for that team.
  • Ensure that your function and squad deliver best practice design across both web and apps.
  • Ensure UX is prioritised by working with product leadership (and other business stakeholders) to identify opportunities for validation and better cross-functional collaboration
  • Actively advocate for Product Design throughout the organisation, such as with commercial, marketing and operations teams
  • Help support and guide Product Designers and set them up for success, creating and empowering clear development plans for your team
  • Recommend new technologies and tools to optimise product design processes, championing a culture of experimentation, rapid testing, and innovating at pace.
