Requirements

  • Must be student enrolled in an ABET accredited science, engineering or engineering technology degree program
  • Completed at least 60 credit hours
  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
  • Experience in analyzing data and determining trends and uncertainties
  • Self-motivated, team player and adaptability to a dynamic environment and the ability to complete all assignments as required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and will be expected to effectively interact with customers and management
  • Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision​
  • Requisition Preferences:
  • Experience in radar software signal and data processing
  • Experience with orbital mechanics
  • Experience with modern computer languages such as MATLAB, Python, C/C or Fortran
  • Experience with MATLAB Antenna Toolbox​​

Responsibilities

  • Develop charts and analyses in radar data reduction and analysis of detected debris
  • Work closely with JETS-II Orbital Debris Research & Science Operations (ODRSO) colleagues and NASA Orbital Debris Program Office (ODPO) customers
  • Present work products to customers and counterparts (written & verbal)
  • Support and participate in technical interc
