NASA uses debris data collected by both the Haystack Ultrawideband Satellite Imaging Radar (HUSIR) and Goldstone Orbital Debris Radar to detect orbiting space debris. This internship will help contribute to NASA’s on-going efforts to interpret and use radar detection data of orbiting debris, which is a key source of information for the models and publications NASA releases to the world for use by space agencies and the public to understand how the debris environment is evolving, predict risk to space-based resources and help to limit further debris events in the future.</span></li></ul>
